Air Fills Things

air fill things by Delta publications

Air is a mixture of gases that we cannot see, but we can feel and breathe. It is all around us.

Air can fill up any space. For example, when you blow air into a balloon, the air fills the balloon, making it bigger.

Balloons are a great example of how air fills things. When a balloon is empty, it is small. When you blow air into it, the balloon gets bigger and fills with air.

Air fills tires of cars, bicycles, and other vehicles. Without air, the tires would be flat and wouldn’t work well.

Many sports balls, like basketballs and soccer balls, are filled with air. The air makes them bounce and gives them shape.

Air can help some things float, like a balloon or a hot air balloon. The air inside the balloon is lighter than the air outside, so it rises.

Air is everywhere. It fills the rooms in your house, the atmosphere around the Earth, and even the spaces in between objects.

Sometimes, you can feel the air moving, which is called wind. Wind is just moving air.
