  • Wells and Ponds: Smaller sources of water.
  • Water has no color, taste, or smell.
  • It flows and takes the shape of the container it is in.
  • Water can exist as a solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (steam).
  • Water is essential for life.
  • It is needed by humans, animals, and plants to survive.
  • Do not waste water.
  • Turn off taps when not in use.
  • Fix leaks in pipes and taps.
  • Use water carefully while bathing or washing.
  • About 70% of the Earth is covered with water.
