West
key notes:
Understanding Directions:
The four main directions are North, South, East, and West. These directions help us find our way around.
Location of West:

West is the opposite of East. When you face the sun in the morning (East), the West is behind you.
Symbol of West:

West is often marked on maps with the letter “W.”
Where the Sun Sets:

The sun sets in the West. This is how we can remember where the West is during the day.
Using Landmarks:
You can use landmarks, like trees or buildings, to help you understand directions. If you know where East is, you can easily find West.
Practice with a Compass:
A compass is a tool that helps us find directions, including West. It has a needle that always points North, so by using the compass, we can figure out where West is.
Simple Activities:
You can practice pointing West in different locations, like at home or school, to get a better understanding of the direction.
