Choose between subject and object personal pronouns

Design by Delta publications

Personal pronouns are words that replace a noun (a person, animal, or thing).
They help us avoid repeating names.

  • Example:
    • Raju is happy. → He is happy. 😊

Used as the subject of a sentence (the one doing the action)

PronounExample Sentence
II like apples. 🍎
YouYou are kind. 😊
HeHe runs fast. 🏃‍♂️
SheShe sings beautifully. 🎤
ItIt is raining. 🌧️
WeWe are friends. 🤝
TheyThey play football. ⚽

Tip: Subject pronouns come before the verb.
