🌟 What is Chance?

  • Chance means how likely something is to happen.
  • We use words to describe chance: certain, probable, unlikely, impossible.

✅ Certain (Will definitely happen)

  • Something that will always happen.
  • It is sure or 100% chance.

Examples:

  • The sun rises in the morning ☀️
  • A baby grows into a child 👶➡️🧒
  • Water is wet 💧

👍 Probable (Likely to happen)

  • Something that will probably happen, but not always.
  • It has a good chance.

Examples:

  • It may rain on a cloudy day ☁️🌧️
  • Studying well → likely to pass 📚
  • Getting a number from a dice 🎲

🤔 Unlikely (May not happen)

  • Something that probably will not happen.
  • It has a small chance.

Examples:

  • Snow in a very hot place ❌❄️
  • Getting a 6 in one throw (not always) 🎲
  • Finding one special toy in a big box 🧸

❌ Impossible (Cannot happen)

  • Something that can never happen.
  • It has 0% chance.

Examples:

  • A cow flying 🐄✈️
